⚠️ Important — NOT compatible with:

• Standard BMWs with the "M Sport" trim package — M Sport is a trim, not a full M car. These extensions only fit vehicles built by the BMW M Division (M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, X5 M, X6 M).
• G-series M cars (G80 M3, G82 M4) — 2020 onwards, different steering wheel design
• Non-M models with regular gear paddles — different mounting geometry
• Manual gearbox variants — no factory paddles fitted

Only fits F-series BMW M cars with the factory M steering wheel and magnesium DCT paddles. Please compare your steering wheel to our product images before ordering.

Fitment check — how to tell if your car is compatible:
First, confirm your car is a genuine M car (M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, X5 M, or X6 M) — the M badge on the boot and the front grille are the giveaways. A standard 3-series with an M Sport trim package is not the same car. Then, behind your steering wheel at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions, you should see two magnesium paddles (silver-grey coloured, marked with + and –). If yes, this product fits.

How to fit:

1. Locate your factory M DCT paddles behind the steering wheel
2. Position the aluminium extension over the existing magnesium paddle
3. Secure using the included screws (or the included double-sided adhesive tape for a screwless install)
4. Repeat for the second paddle
5. Test both paddles for smooth movement before driving

Note on install: Screw fitting provides the most secure hold but leaves small marks on the factory paddle. Adhesive tape is fully reversible but may loosen over time. Choose based on your preference.
