If your R8 is equipped with the factory Active Aero rear spoiler (electronically deployed, speed and drive-mode dependent), you will need to replace the spoiler panel as part of this kit and have the vehicle's coding adjusted by a specialist with Audi diagnostic capability. This is not a simple bolt-on job for Active Aero cars — please factor this into your installation planning and budget.
