For the Golf Mk7.5, GTI, GTD, and R — our LED headlight conversion set gives your car a facelift-style upgrade with genuine LED lighting, dynamic sweeping indicators, and a start-up animation, replacing your factory halogen units.
Sold as a pair — one left-side headlight, one right-side headlight.
Direct-fit compatibility:
- Golf Mk7.5, GTI, GTD, R (5-door hatchback) — 2017–2021
Installation varies by your current headlight type:
- Halogen headlamps — plug-and-play, no coding required
- Xenon/HID headlamps — adapter cable included, but coding via VCDS (and possibly pin swaps) is required
- Adaptive/Matrix Lighting Package headlamps — coding required, and Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) must be disabled during coding

Installation:
For halogen-equipped cars, this is a direct plug-and-play replacement with no coding required. For Xenon/HID or Adaptive/Matrix Lighting Package models, coding via VCDS (and possibly pin swaps) is needed to activate correctly, and AFS must be disabled during coding. We strongly recommend professional installation and a road-legality check by a qualified auto electrician, given this is a safety-critical lighting component.
